EDH BJJ & Grapplers!
As we look forward to a new school year we are also looking forward to getting more involved in the community! Over the summer we hosted some local sports teams for a self defense seminar. Not only did they get some great cross-training, but they also learned about body awareness and some BJJ techniques for self defense and bully prevention. We'd love to offer this opportunity to other local teams in our community! If you know of a local team that would benefit from some training on the mat that is also useful in the real world, please let us know!
Also, we're currently hosting a Back to School Supplies Drive for Sacramento Children's Home. This project was started by three of the students in our kid's class.....a great example of leadership skills and real world application of what is learned on the mat! if you or your children have an idea for a community project we'd LOVE to hear it, so feel free to share it with us!
Our goal is for our students to be leaders on and off the mat and for our school to be a positive influence in the community. Thanks for helping us achieve our goal!
