Dear Team, We're well into the second half of the year, school is starting, and things are busy! During this time of change let's remember to be patient and embrace the new until it becomes the familiar.

1. NoGi Tournament: Research has shown that kids who are challenged in the form of sports and mentored through the process are better able to develop leadership skills, problem solving skills, and overcome adversity. We hope to make a contribution to that with our in house tournament.
The tournament will also feature a Canned Food Drive as an "entry fee" for all spectators. Students can pick up tickets to "sell" to their peers and community businesses. Below are details on the tournament.
- WHEN: Saturday August 22nd
- KIDS: 8:30-10:00am
- ADULTS: 10:15-NOON
- COST: $35 until August 17th. $50 on or after 18th.
2. Team Gear
If you ordered Team Gear it's all ready! We have a few extra sizes and can re-order if we run out.
3. Belt Promotions
Belt Promotions are twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall in season with the time of change. Everyone is welcome to join us on a great day to celebrate the students hard work and dedication.
- WHEN: Wednesday, September 16th
- KIDS: 5:30pm
- JUNIORS: 6:15pm
- ALL ADULTS: 7:15pm
NOT EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A NEW BELT BUT EVERYONE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND & JOIN THE CELEBRATION!
