School is starting back up!! Now is a great time to introduce your new & old friends to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! We can train together, teach each other, & have fun! Enrollments based on your referral will get YOU a months credit towards your tuition. That means you get ONE MONTH FREE! (Contest ends September 15th)

1. Calendar Change 
Please look at the updated calendar for August. Please mark your calendars with these events, and note that we will be finishing off the month with a No-Gi Tournament on Sunday!

2. Lombardi Contest 
We have had 3 students(Angelo, Ethan, & Ryan) recite the Lombardi Poem. If you are able to successfully recite the poem you will receive a gift card to Jamba Juice! I CHALLENGE EVERYONE to do this!!

3. Seminar 
On Saturday August 20th from 12-2 pm in El Cerrito, CA a United States Olympic Judo alternate and former collegiate All American Wrestler Justin Flores will be holding a seminar to teach how to combine Judo, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Early registration price is $25. This seminar will sell out as there are a limited amount of spaces. Justin is known for putting on excellent seminars so don't miss this great opportunity to learn from one of the best. To sign up send an email to ecbjj@yahoo.com.
