Three very exciting events going on this week in El Dorado Hills Jiu-Jitsu to welcome everyone back to the mat!
Class with Caren, BJJ Black Belt
This Tuesday, August 20, EDH Jiu-Jitsu will be hosting Caren Camblin from Santa Cruz, CA. She holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is one of the instructors at Claudio Franca's academy. She holds an MA in philosophy from Stanford University and is a lecturer at UCSC. Her jiu-jitsu classes offer practical drills, core-strength conditioning, and instruction tailored to students’ needs.
ALL Ladies: Mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, aunts and cousins are encouraged to participate in this FEMALE ONLY event! YES! A class for women by women! Even if Jiu-Jitsu is "NOT MY THING" this will be a unique and special event to take part in.
Social Hour
Following our 1 hour adults class on Tuesday, we will have our end of the summer social hour. Invite your friends and family and enjoy some time off the mat with everyone. 9:00pm~
NoGi Tournament Clinic at EDH
To finish of the summer of NoGi training, everyone is invited and recommended to join our NoGi Tournament Clinic this Saturday. Competitors must pre-register before Friday, August 23.
Where: El Dorado Hills, CA
When: Saturday, August 24
Schedule:
Kids 9:00am - 10:00am (followed by award ceremony and team picture)
Adults 10:30 - 11:30am (followed by award ceremony and team picture)
Style: NoGi Jiu-Jitsu
Guarantee: Two Matches, Individual Coaching, Prize, Podium Pic
Cost & Donation: Registration is $30. $5 of your registration will be used as a donation towards the heart walk in September. Please feel free to make any additional donations online. Competitors must pre-register by Friday, August 23.
New Fall Schedule
A hard copy of our new fall schedule will come out this week. Feel free to observe our weekly calendar online as we make slight changes to the existing schedule for the fall. New schedule starts September 2nd!
