Also, this is our last week in April, let's make it an ACTION packed week and get lot's done!! Before the end of the month I would like to schedule a 3~5min. Goal Setting Review with each one of you on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. There will be a sign up sheet with time slots so don't forget to mark your time!

1. Testing
This week Eliot will be testing individuals on the tricks they acquired during the month. I expect to see 2~3 from the adults and 1~2 from the kids. Be sharp and ready to show your tricks at anytime during practice. Feel free to include the drills / mat exercises as a trick you learned.

2. MS Walk / BJJ Tournament
- April 30 is the MS Walk in Folsom, CA. Feel free to Join Eliot's wife Jenni and her "TEAM." More details can be found here:
- April 30/May 1 is the American Cup in San Jose, CA today is the deadline to register. There is no pressure to compete,competition is optional! Even if you are not competing you could go have some fun with the everyone at Santana Row, and support the team during competition!

3. Weekly Tricks
This is an UNLISTED video for EDHBJJ Members ONLY. Feel free to download it onto your computer or save the URL. There will be a blog post to go along with the video to emphasize some of the finer points and help you visualize the technique in your spare time! Feel free to send/post any input on these videos. It is still a work in progress and I would love to know how I can make it better for you!

4. Video Contest
Our Viral Video Contest will start May 1. Put together a short clip about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in El Dorado Hills and post it on youtube. The first video to receive over 1,000 Views will win a Flip Video Camera. You may post more than one video (No More than 5) and combine the total view count to reach 1,000 Views! Please send your video's to me before posting for content approval.
